Purdy Island Ponies!

When given the opportunity to take horsey pics on Salt Spring Island I jumped at the chance!  My friend has two horses, her handsome gelding (that she does dressage with) and a sweet retired mare, and they are the best of buds :)  They were so gentle and loving together, it was really special to see a bond like theirs.  It was a great day, can't wait to go back!

Birdies!

I've got my feeders up already!  Want all my local birdies nice and fat for winter (and it gives me an excuse to take pics from the "comfort" of my own backyard ;)
