Jumpers at Lochside

I was planning on shooting the whole jumping event at Lochside Lane last month, but ended up only taking a few pics on one of the days.  Was fun though, saw some really nice horses!

Puppy Preview!

I was lucky enough to get to go over to the Mainland last weekend and visit with a litter of Eurasier puppies!  Here's a sneak peek until I have the full blog ready:)

Corinne, Oscar, Stella and Elvis!

I had such a great time photographing Corinne and her fur babies!  I first met Corinne when I did an engagement shoot for her a few years ago, so it was nice seeing her again:)  Oscar is such a gentleman and was so well behaved (well, except for when "someone", aka me, let go of his lead rope and he hoofed it back across the field to a nice green patch of grass by the barn, even throwing in a little buck on the way for good measure LOL!).  Stella and Elvis are quite the duo and I was looking forward to shooting them as I have a soft spot for Boxers.  They were full of personality and there was never a dull moment!  Stella even likes to take Oscar for walks when she's in the mood haha!  I felt bad for Corinne though, having to wrangle all three animals at once...hope you weren't too tired after!

Horsing around as the sun sets

So I can't post up Corinne's pics as she doesn't have them yet...but I thought I'd share some of the other horses at the barn where she boards (with a couple of Oscar thrown in sshhh!).  The sun was getting nice and low in the sky and the light was really pretty, I could have stayed for hours - it was so relaxing!  Have I mentioned how much I like photographing horses?  Love, love, love!
